FOSCO Leader attends the 61th National Day Celebration of Malaysia (August 31st 1957 - 2018)

On the morning of August 30^th 2018, Mr. Hồ Trọng Trí, Deputy General Director, on behalf of FOSCO Leaders, attended and extended many congratulations to the Celebration of the 61^st anniversary of Malaysian National Day (August 31^st 1957 - 2018), also the 45^th anniversary of Vietnam - Malaysia Diplomatic Relationship establishment (1973 - 2018).
Speaking at the celebration, Mr. Trần Ngọc Sơn, Chairman of Vietnam – Malaysia Friendship Association in HCMC went through all big milestones in the history of Vietnam- Malaysia relationship. Over the past 45 years, the comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Malaysia has developed well, became the strategic partnership in 2015 and continued to be enhanced, deepened and broadened in many different fields.
Mr. Sofian Akmal Abd. Karim – Consul General of Malaysia in HCMC emphasized that: the relationship between the two countries has continuously grown on many aspects: public security, national defense, trade, investment, education, tourism and people diplomacy. The relationship between Vietnam - Malaysia was upgraded to Strategic Partnership in 2015 and is heading to reach $15 billion bilateral trade cooperation in 2020.
On this occasion, the Vietnam - Malaysia Friendship Association of HCMC introduced its newly-founded unit, the Vietnam - Malaysia Friendship Association of Phú Nhuận District.
